2026 review

Adael Amador hit well in a stop-and-start season, going 23-for-83 with 4 HR, hitting .277 and slugging .482 in 83 AB while posting an OBP of .362, a 12.6 K% and a 10.5 BB% over 95 PA, all for COL. He was optioned Mar 17, recalled Aug 12, optioned again Aug 21, and recalled Sep 1, playing 5 games and 13 PA in Aug against 22 games and 82 PA in Sep. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 1172, he finished 1081st of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank and 45th of 75 second basemen. The TDK LABS card tracked the swings in opportunity: in mid-Aug it had him as an infielder with limited playing time so far, by early Sep it had him locked in and producing at the plate, and by mid-Sep it was still framing him as a brief-look rookie second baseman at Coors.
