Andre PallanteSTL · SP
2026 review
Andre Pallante was a steady innings-eater whose results outran his contact quality for much of the season, but an elbow issue in August broke up the rhythm. He made 29 starts and posted a 3.83 ERA and 1.27 WHIP in 162.0 IP, with a 16.2 K% and a 7.4 BB% over 679 BF, going 12-9. STL placed him on the 15-day IL Aug 21, retroactive to Aug 18, for right elbow inflammation, and activated him Sep 4 after he missed 17 regular-season days. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 1263, taken in 278 of 674 drafts, he finished 533rd of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 273rd of 811 pitchers and 82nd of 236 starting pitchers. His 3.83 ERA ran 0.32 below his 4.15 xERA over 679 BF, and the split around the elbow stint was stark: a 3.57 ERA in 136.0 IP before it against a 5.19 ERA in 26.0 IP after he came back. The TDK LABS card had him churning quality innings with a secure rotation spot by mid-Jun, and by late Sep it had him as a middle-of-the-rotation arm without much swing-and-miss whose command had wavered in recent outings.
