Andrew HoffmannARI · RP

2026 review

Andrew Hoffmann was a wild reliever for ARI who could miss bats but not the strike zone, posting a 7.71 ERA and 2.06 WHIP in 11.2 IP across 8 games, with a 20.3 K% but a 13.6 BB% over 59 BF and 3 HR allowed. His last game came Apr 28, and he was optioned the next day; he was later designated for assignment Aug 17, released Aug 19, claimed off waivers by PHI from ARI Aug 20, and optioned again by PHI that same day. Undrafted, he finished 921st of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 595th of 811 pitchers, and 459th of 575 relievers. The TDK LABS card traced the fallout of one late-April outing against Milwaukee that wiped out an otherwise clean stretch: by mid-May it had him planted in the minors as a depth shuffle, and by late May it still saw no path back to a leverage role in the Arizona pen.
