2026 review

Anthony Banda was a middle-relief arm who missed bats but walked his share, a 21.2 K% and a 9.6 BB% over 156 BF for MIN, posting a 4.46 ERA and 1.34 WHIP in 34.1 IP with 2 SV and 10 HLD across 39 games. He was designated for assignment by LAD on Feb 6 and traded to MIN on Feb 12, then placed on the 15-day IL on Jun 29 with a left lat strain and transferred to the 60-day IL on Jul 11, missing 90 regular-season days with no activation on record through Sep 27. Taken in just 9 of 674 drafts at ADP rank 777, he finished 656th of 1472 overall in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank and 377th of 811 pitchers, 280th of 575 relievers. His best month was May at a 3.00 ERA in 12.0 IP against an 8.49 ERA in 11.2 IP in Apr. The TDK LABS card had little to go on in early May, calling his role signal archive-tier from his time with LAD, and by late Jul and into early Aug it had him parked on the 15-day IL with no clear return in sight.
