Anthony GoseKCR · RP

2026 review

Anthony Gose was a sharp, low-leverage bullpen arm for KCR once he arrived: a 0.66 ERA and 0.95 WHIP in 13.2 IP over 14 games, with a 13.7 K% and a 3.9 BB% over 51 BF, 1 W, 1 L, 2 HLD and 1 HR allowed. He signed a minor league contract on Apr 28, had his contract selected Aug 27, and worked 2 games for 2.2 IP in Aug before a heavier Sep load of 12 games for 11.0 IP. Undrafted in NFBC drafts, he finished 412th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 180th of 811 pitchers, and 117th of 575 relievers. The TDK LABS card described him late Aug as fresh relief brought in, by Sep 22 as a middle reliever used in some later-inning spots but never for a save, and by Sep 25 as a middle reliever whose ERA was running well ahead of the quality of contact he was allowing.
