A left hamstring strain put him on the 10-day IL Aug 17, he took a rehab assignment Sep 8, and he was activated Sep 10, missing 24 regular-season days. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 1020, he finished 667th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 353 spots above his ADP rank, and 38th of 93 left fielders. Early on, the TDK LABS card had him as a hot start with the contact and speed carrying an escalating role, before late Sep found him back from the hamstring strain reclaiming the outfield slot but cast as a speed-driven platoon piece given the limited power.
