2026 review
Bailey Falter split time between the rotation and the bullpen for KCR and ATL, but the results never came together: a 10.38 ERA and 2.46 WHIP in 13.0 IP across 7 games (2 GS), with an 11.6 K% and an 8.7 BB% over 69 BF. He landed on the 15-day IL on Apr 3 (retroactive to Apr 2) with left elbow inflammation, took a rehab assignment Apr 15, and was activated May 16 after missing 44 regular-season days, only to be designated for assignment May 27 and outrighted Jun 2. KCR traded him to ATL on Aug 2, and after his contract was selected Sep 9 he was designated for assignment again Sep 14 and outrighted Sep 16. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 814, he finished 1140th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, and 550th of 575 relief pitchers. The TDK LABS card followed the swings: by early May it had his rehab outing as the cleanest look yet with the elbow finally right, by mid Jun it was noting a rough big-league outing and a DFA flag on the wire, and by mid Sep, despite a scoreless stretch with Atlanta, he was designated for assignment again.
