Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 1162, he finished 805th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank and 35th of 75 second basemen. The TDK LABS card tracked the disruption: in early May it had him on the strong side of a hardened platoon getting at-bats against right-handed-heavy stretches, but by late May, with him on the IL, it had the runway evaporating as Tampa Bay turned to another player to absorb the at-bats. By late Sep, freshly back from the hamstring issue, the card noted lingering soreness that forced a game sit.
