2026 review

Blaze Jordan was a power-hitting third baseman whose bat trailed the contact he made: he hit .247/.276/.382 with a 15.1 K% and a 3.5 BB% over 199 PA across 58 games for STL, with 3 HR and 28 RBI in 186 AB. His contract was selected Jun 12 and he played through Aug 27 before a left ankle sprain put him on the 10-day IL on Aug 28, with no activation on record through Sep 27, missing 30 regular-season days in that stint. Taken in just 1 of 674 drafts, a rare pick, he finished 1062nd of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank and 37th of 67 third basemen. His .284 wOBA ran 33 points below his .317 xwOBA over 199 PA. The TDK LABS card tracked the swing in his role: fresh up in mid Jun it flagged the over-the-fence pop from his debut weekend, by mid Aug it had his playing time evaporating after a benching trend with a shrinking role, and by late Sep it had him on the 10-day IL with the ankle sprain.
