Brad LordWSN · RP
2026 review
Brad Lord was a bullpen arm who held up against right-handed hitters and got hit harder from the left side, posting a 3.78 ERA and 1.22 WHIP in 83.1 IP with a 21.6 K% and a 9.2 BB% over 357 BF across 40 games for WSN, with 1 SV and 7 HLD. Left side tightness put him on the 15-day IL Jul 9, retroactive to Jul 6, and after a rehab assignment Aug 1 he was activated Aug 5, missing 30 regular-season days. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 1291, he finished 458th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank and 142nd of 575 relievers. His 27.7 Hard% over 238 BBE was the 51st lowest of 517 pitchers with 100+ BF, against right-handed batters opponents hit .204/.266/.299 over 186 PA while lefties hit .243/.359/.410 over 171 PA, and his ERA ran 3.55 in 25.1 IP after the IL stint against 3.88 in 58.0 IP before it. His best month was May at a 1.17 ERA in 15.1 IP against a 4.67 ERA in 17.1 IP in Jun. Early in the year the TDK LABS card had him in a committee behind a likelier save-getter, and by late Sep it had him reverted to bullpen work after a rotation experiment.
