2026 review

Brandon Lockridge got off to a fine start for MIL before a knee injury ate most of his season. Across 39 games he posted a .277 AVG and .327 SLG in 101 AB and a .348 OBP in 113 PA, adding 5 2B, 6 SB and 12 RBI. He put up a 29.2 K% and a 9.7 BB% over 113 PA. A right knee laceration and contusion put him on the 10-day IL May 9, that stint was transferred to the 60-day IL Jul 7, he took a rehab assignment Jul 23, and was activated Aug 1, missing 84 regular-season days; MIL optioned him Aug 19 and recalled him Sep 25. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 981, he finished 1121st of 1472 overall in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 394th of 660 hitters and 51st of 93 left fielders. His .308 wOBA ran 50 points above his .258 xwOBA over 113 PA. By early May the TDK LABS card had him sliding into a short-side platoon against left-handers after Jackson Chourio's return, and by early Aug it was reading his path back as narrowing after a knee setback. By late Sep it had him back only as injury-absence depth for the final series.
