Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 335, he finished 124th of 1472 overall in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 211 spots above, and 100th of 660 hitters, 12th of 93 left fielders. The season swung hard from month to month: he hit .333 over 90 AB in May and just .140 over 86 AB in Jul. The TDK LABS card followed that swing, flagging a 3-game run of homers and hot contact in early Jul before describing him in early Aug as a power bat working through a prolonged cold stretch with little hard contact.
