2026 review

Brenton Doyle put up a .233 AVG and .362 SLG in 210 AB, and a .275 OBP, a 32.7 K% and a 5.4 BB% over 223 PA, with 6 HR, 14 SB and 35 R across 87 games for COL and CHW. A left oblique contusion put him on the 10-day IL May 21, retroactive to May 20, and after rehab assignments he wasn't activated until Jul 31, missing 72 regular-season days; he was then traded from COL to CHW on Aug 3. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 162, he finished 668th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 506 spots below his ADP rank, and 32nd of 70 centerfielders. His .280 wOBA ran 35 points above his .245 xwOBA over 223 PA. He hit .207 over 111 AB before the IL stint and .263 over 99 AB after he came back. By mid-Aug the TDK LABS card had him leaving Colorado for CHW, noting cold contact and a park downgrade offsetting the added playing time; by late Sep it described him as a part-time left fielder in the midst of a hitting streak.
