2026 review

Brice Turang was a patient second baseman who played all year, hitting .268/.366/.450 with a 25.1 K% and a 13.2 BB% over 680 PA for MIL, adding 21 HR, 100 RBI and 19 SB across 151 games and 149 starts. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 60, he finished 19th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 41 spots above, 16th of 660 hitters, and 1st of 75 second basemen. His 13.2 BB% over 680 PA was the 19th highest of 267 hitters with 300+ PA. His .358 wOBA ran 14 points above his .344 xwOBA over 680 PA. He did far more damage against right-handed pitchers, .288/.389/.505 over 483 PA, than against left-handers, .213/.300/.309 over 203 PA, and his best month was Sep at .361 over 83 AB against just .175 over 97 AB in Aug. In early May the card already had him as a clean lean off a strong early line; by Aug 1 it had him shaking off a brief foot scare as a dependable run producer, and by late Sep it had him going strong with the numbers to back it up.
