2026 review

Brock Burke was a high-strikeout, walk-prone reliever whose results outran his contact quality: he posted a 2.30 ERA and 1.26 WHIP in 74.1 IP across 77 games for CIN, with a 23.6 K% and 12.7 BB% over 314 BF, 6 W, 2 SV and 23 HLD. He was traded to CIN on Jan 16. A rare pick at NFBC ADP rank 649, taken in just 3 of 674 drafts, he finished 277th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank and 51st of 575 relievers. His 2.30 ERA ran 1.35 below his 3.65 xERA over 314 BF, and his best month was Jun at 0.73 ERA in 12.1 IP against 6.92 ERA in 13.0 IP in May. The TDK LABS card tracked a role climb: in early May it had him as a committee third arm with one save and no fresh leverage; by late Aug it had him as the setup arm after a blown save with the bullpen shifting around him; by late Sep it had him holding the eighth inning with back-to-back holds.
