2026 review

Bryan De La Cruz was a part-time corner outfielder who hit .280/.349/.413 with a 20.9 K% and an 8.1 BB% over 86 PA in 34 games for PHI, adding 4 2B and 2 HR. He signed as a free agent Jul 5, was optioned the same day, and was recalled Jul 21, with his workload building from 16 PA in Jul to 35 PA apiece in Aug and Sep. Taken in just 2 of 674 drafts at ADP rank 616, he finished 1175th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank and 54th of 79 right fielders. The TDK LABS card traced a clear arc: recalled Jul 23 on early contact that the card called elite, riding what it described by Aug 26 as an elite hot stretch, then by Aug 28 flagging the batting average as propped up by an elevated BABIP, before turning to a cold recent stretch by Sep 25.
