2026 review
Bryce Miller threw strikes and kept his WHIP down, but the ball left the yard on him: a 4.17 ERA and 1.16 WHIP in 118.2 IP with a 24.5 K% and a 7.8 BB% over 485 BF, and 21 HR allowed across 22 games and 21 GS. His year started late, since SEA placed him on the 15-day IL on Mar 25, retroactive to Mar 22, with a left oblique strain; he took rehab assignments through Apr and early May and was activated May 13, by which point he had missed 49 regular-season days. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 265, he finished 542nd of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 277 spots below, and 83rd of 236 starting pitchers. He came back sharp and faded, a 1.71 ERA in 21.0 IP in May against a 9.00 ERA in 20.0 IP in Aug, and the fastball eased off along the way: it averaged 96.5 mph in Mar-Jun over 289 pitches and 95.6 mph in Jul-Sep over 455 pitches, a change of -0.9 mph. His 4.17 ERA ran 0.47 above his 3.70 xERA over 485 BF.
