Cade CavalliWSN · SP

2026 review

Cade Cavalli was a rookie starter whose strikeouts carried his season: 13 W and 5 L with a 3.02 ERA and 1.16 WHIP in 169.2 IP, 200 SO and 18 HR allowed, and a 28.3 K% and 6.8 BB% over 706 BF across 32 starts. Washington suspended him Jul 6. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 328, he finished 133rd of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 195 spots above, and 15th of 236 starting pitchers. His 3.02 ERA ran 0.66 below his 3.68 xERA over 706 BF. The TDK LABS card tracked him closely: by May 8 it noted only one other pitcher had matched his pace, by Jun 12 it noted he was not starting that night, and by late Sep it credited his strikeouts and control while noting his strand rate had run high.
