2026 review

Carlos Cortes was a part-time corner outfielder who put up a modest line in an uneven share of playing time. He hit .251/.318/.397 with a 16.5 K% and an 8.1 BB% over 381 PA for ATH across 124 games but only 93 starts, with 86 H, 16 2B, 10 HR, 30 R and 43 RBI. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 998, he finished 492nd of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, and 29th of 79 right fielders. His .315 wOBA ran 14 points above his .301 xwOBA over 381 PA. Apr was his one big month at .400 over 65 AB. Aug was his worst, .231 over 65 AB. By late Jun the TDK LABS card had his bat quiet with the expected line sitting above the surface, and by late Sep it had him as a streaky corner outfielder without an everyday role.
