2026 review

Ceddanne Rafaela was an everyday center fielder who hit for pop but barely walked: a .283 AVG and .442 SLG in 541 AB, a .319 OBP over 576 PA, adding 32 2B, 3 3B, 16 HR, 70 RBI and 17 SB. His 3.8 BB% over 576 PA was the 9th lowest of 267 hitters with 300+ PA. A right quadriceps strain put him on the 10-day IL on Sep 6, retroactive to Sep 3, and he was activated Sep 23 after missing 20 regular-season days. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 130, he finished 66th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 64 spots above his ADP rank, and 6th of 70 center fielders. His .330 wOBA ran 45 points above his .285 xwOBA over 576 PA. The TDK LABS card had him as an everyday bat riding a hot stretch by early Aug, then noted a hard slump off that stretch by late Aug, and by Sep 27, back from the quad strain, it had him with his defense and power profile intact.
