Cedric Mullins was an everyday center fielder whose results lagged his role: over 137 games and 122 starts he hit .205/.284/.344 in 439 AB, with 15 HR, 56 R, 48 RBI and 21 SB, a 19.3 K% and an 8.6 BB% over 502 PA. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 288, he finished 256th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 32 spots above, and 20th of 70 center fielders. His .281 wOBA ran 17 points above his .264 xwOBA over 502 PA, and he hit .261 over 69 AB in Jun against just .143 over 77 AB in Apr. By early May the TDK LABS card had him near the bottom of qualified hitters, pointing to a low wRC+ and a low average. By mid-Aug it described his contact as cold with no barrels in the recent stretch and a flattened barrel rate, though the everyday role and matchups kept him in the lineup, and by late Sep it still read him as in a cold stretch, with the everyday left-handed platoon role and his approach cited alongside it.
