2026 review

Chase Meidroth was a quietly complete second baseman, hitting .276/.350/.415 with a 21.9 K% and a 9.5 BB% over 643 PA, adding 16 HR, 90 R, 63 RBI and 4 SB across 154 games for CHW. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 336, he finished 85th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 251 spots above, and 6th of 75 second basemen. He handled left-handed pitching far better than right-handers, hitting .348/.429/.589 over 184 PA against lefties and .247/.318/.347 over 460 PA against righties. His .339 wOBA ran 38 points above his .301 xwOBA over 643 PA. The TDK LABS card tracked a player who stayed hot through a long run of starts, noting a big power blast in late May, then a stretch without power under a heavy workload against right-handers in late Aug even as the underlying numbers stayed ahead of the results, and by late Sep it still had him productive at the plate despite limited availability.
