2026 review

Chase Silseth was a swing-and-miss reliever who kept walking people but kept the ball in the yard enough to make it work: he went 3-4 with a 3.60 ERA and 1.50 WHIP in 60.0 IP across 73 games, with 18 HLD and 4 BS, striking out 27.3% and walking 12.9% of the 271 batters he faced. His 14.3 SwStr% over 1092 pitches was the 43rd highest of 517 pitchers with 100+ BF. He moved from LAA to TEX between his Jul 27 and Aug 1 outings. Taken in only 19 of 674 drafts at ADP rank 839, he finished 769th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank and 477th of 811 pitchers, 360th of 575 relievers. His 3.60 ERA ran 0.49 below his 4.09 xERA over 271 BF. The TDK LABS card had him locked in with a strong strikeout-to-walk run by early May, then after the trade a leverage arm in a deep Texas pen where the closer job stayed out of reach, and by late Sep a setup piece whose process it still rated strong.
