2026 review

Christian Franklin was a speed-and-defense reserve outfielder who barely got a foothold: .180/.305/.220 and a 25.4 K% and 11.9 BB% over 59 PA, 50 AB, with 3 SB, across 21 games for BAL. He was optioned on Mar 23, made his BAL debut in Aug, and went down with left hand inflammation, placed on the 10-day IL Sep 1 retroactive to Aug 31; he took a rehab assignment Sep 13 and was activated Sep 19 after missing 19 regular-season days. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 779, he finished 1325th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 538th of 660 hitters and 61st of 70 center fielders. He played 16 games for 42 PA in Aug and 5 games for 17 PA in Sep. The TDK LABS card had him in early Aug as a reserve outfielder valued for speed and defense, his debut including a stolen base, and by mid Sep it had him progressing in hitting after the hand injury with an early return window.
