2026 review

Christian Moore was a second baseman who struggled to make contact and still hit below what that contact deserved: he batted .187/.252/.276 with a 32.7 K% and a 7.5 BB% over 147 PA for LAA, with 2 HR and 18 RBI across 38 games. He was optioned Mar 14, recalled Jun 18, optioned again Jun 27, and recalled once more Aug 22, his playing time climbing from 22 PA over 6 games in Jun to 87 PA over 23 games in Sep. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 462, he finished 1264th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 802 spots below, and 55th of 75 second basemen. His .239 wOBA ran 15 points below his .254 xwOBA over 147 PA. The TDK LABS card's read shifted across the season: in mid Jun it called him a fill-in without a lock on everyday at-bats, by late Aug it saw him settling into an everyday run behind a low-strikeout profile, and by late Sep it had him as the expected starter working through a rough patch.
