2026 review

Christian Scott worked as a starter for NYM, posting a 3.85 ERA and 1.27 WHIP in 110.0 IP over 23 starts, with a 28.3 K% and a 9.9 BB% over 474 BF, going 4-5. He was optioned Mar 17, recalled Apr 23, optioned again Apr 24, recalled Apr 28, then placed on the 15-day IL Jun 15, retroactive to Jun 12, with a right hip impingement, missing 15 regular-season days in that stint. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 1049, he finished 549th of 1472 overall in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 500 spots above, and 289th of 811 pitchers, 85th of 236 starters. His ERA sat at 3.10 in 40.2 IP before that IL stint and 4.28 in 69.1 IP after he came back. His best month was Jul at a 2.59 ERA in 24.1 IP and his worst was Aug at a 6.04 ERA in 25.1 IP. The TDK LABS card by early Jul had the stuff itself reading strong just after the hip issue, even with an ugly outing on the surface.
