2026 review

Christian Walker was a durable power bat who hit for pop without much average to go with it, playing all season for HOU and putting up .226/.299/.427 with a 23.1 K% and an 8.0 BB% over 635 PA, 29 HR, 73 R and 87 RBI across 156 games. Drafted in all 674 drafts at ADP rank 198, he finished 117th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 81 spots above his ADP rank, and 93rd of 660 hitters, 16th of 65 first basemen. His .316 wOBA ran 11 points above his .305 xwOBA over 635 PA. His best month was Apr at .284 over 95 AB against just .200 over 105 AB in May. The TDK LABS card had him rolling in early May off a hot stretch and strong contact, but by mid and late Aug it was flagging a cold stretch even as his expected numbers read better than his actual contact, and by Sep 25 it still had him mired in a month-plus slump with only brief flashes of power.
