2026 review

Cody Bellinger had a steady, productive year for NYY: he hit .266/.340/.431 with a 15.8 K% and a 10.5 BB% over 562 PA, going 132-for-496 with 17 HR, 73 R, 73 RBI and 12 SB across 132 games. After signing as a free agent Jan 26, he was placed on the 10-day IL Jul 26 with a left hamstring strain, took a rehab assignment Aug 20, and was activated Aug 23, missing 28 regular-season days in 1 stint. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 78, he finished 90th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 12 spots below his ADP rank, and 9th of 93 LFs. He hit .259 over 374 AB before the stint and .287 over 122 AB after he came back. His best month was May at .304 over 102 AB and his worst was Apr at .222 over 90 AB. The TDK LABS card read him as a top-side asset in early May, flagged a cold stretch by mid-Jul, and by late Sep was noting a recent slump closing out an otherwise solid campaign.
