2026 review

Cody Bolton pitched out of the Houston bullpen with a wild streak that never let up: a 5.40 ERA and 1.75 WHIP in 20.0 IP over 8 games, with a 23.2 K% and a 14.7 BB% over 95 BF. His contract was selected Mar 30, and after a 15-day IL stint from Apr 13 to Apr 30 that cost him 17 regular-season days, he took a rehab assignment before being activated. He was designated for assignment May 18 and outrighted May 21. Undrafted in NFBC drafts, he finished 934th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 604th of 811 pitchers, and 468th of 575 relievers. The TDK LABS card had him parked in middle relief with no leverage and no rotation path in early May, and by late Jun and into early Jul it had him back on the injured list.
