Undrafted in NFBC drafts, he finished 890th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, and 439th of 575 relievers. His 4.00 ERA ran 1.51 below his 5.51 xERA over 123 BF. The TDK LABS card tracked the arc: by early May it had him allowing runs in a run of outings after being framed as bullpen depth, by Jul it read him as a bullpen recall with no leverage path, and by early Aug it had him out with left oblique tightness.
