2026 review
Cole Winn was a hard-hit reliever who ended his year on the IL: he posted a 5.62 ERA and a 1.46 WHIP in 48.0 IP over 51 games for TEX, with a 22.8 K% and a 7.4 BB% over 215 BF, and his 42.3 Hard% over 149 BBE was the 14th highest of 517 pitchers with 100+ BF. Right arm fatigue sent him to the 15-day IL May 24 before he was activated Jun 9, and a right rotator cuff strain moved him to the 15-day IL Aug 31, retroactive to Aug 28, then to the 60-day IL Sep 18 with no activation through Sep 27, 46 regular-season days missed in 2 stints. The ERA barely moved around that first stint, 5.59 in 19.1 IP before it and 5.65 in 28.2 IP after, and his 5.62 ERA ran 0.73 above his 4.89 xERA over 215 BF. The TDK LABS card slid over the season, from an early read of him as a preferred bid to watching him surrender a ninth-inning homer, then into an opener and setup mix with unstable hold volume, and by late Sep it noted he was on the IL. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 1102, he finished 902nd of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank and 446th of 575 relief pitchers.
