Cole Young was an everyday second baseman for SEA this year, posting a .246/.312/.381 line with 17 HR, 76 R and 66 RBI, adding a 17.1 K% and a 6.9 BB% over 638 PA. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 955, he finished 145th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 810 spots above, and 14th of 75 second basemen. He hit .295 over 105 AB in Jun and just .175 over 97 AB in Aug. The TDK LABS card traced the season: by early May it had him playing well after earlier skepticism, by early Jul it had that hot stretch continuing, by late Aug it noted a dizziness scare had cleared, and by late Sep it described him as a contact-first infielder whose role stayed locked across positions despite a recent cold stretch.
