2026 review

Colton Cowser was a power-speed outfielder who chased swings and misses all year: his 30.9 K% over 392 PA was the 17th highest of 267 hitters with 300+ PA. He hit .226/.317/.370 over 392 PA with 13 HR, 10 SB and 46 BB across 142 games for BAL. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 240, he finished 372nd of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 132 spots below, and 27th of 70 center fielders. The TDK LABS card tracked real swings: by early May it had him in an offensive collapse facing a tough stretch of opponents, by early Aug it described him as a left-handed bat struggling against left-handed pitching even though his expected numbers read better than his actual results, by late Aug it had him heating up with strong contact quality, and by late Sep it noted an extended stretch of better results with solid underlying contact.
