2026 review

Dane Myers was a platoon-leaning center fielder who hit .257/.344/.377 over 334 PA for CIN. He added 8 HR and 10 SB, with a 24.6 K% and an 11.1 BB% over 334 PA. A left shoulder contusion put him on the 10-day IL Jun 30, and after a rehab assignment he was activated Jul 17, missing 17 regular-season days. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 1254, he finished 431st of 1472 overall in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank and 238th of 660 hitters, and 30th of 70 center fielders. He started 20 of 63 games in Mar-Jun and 45 of 54 in Jul-Sep. His .324 wOBA ran 15 points above his .309 xwOBA over 334 PA. His average barely moved around the IL stint, .256 over 117 AB before it and .257 over 175 AB after. By early May the TDK LABS card had him as CIN's preferred center fielder and leadoff bat against left-handers; by early Sep it noted a cooling stretch with a platoon look against right-handers emerging, and by late Sep it still had him cooling down and carrying a platoon role.
