2026 review

Davis Schneider spent 2026 shuttling between Toronto and the minors, never quite able to hold a roster spot for long. He hit .145/.310/.315 with a 32.7 K% and an 18.6 BB% over 156 PA and 124 AB across 69 games and 39 starts for TOR, adding 5 HR, 21 R and 16 RBI, and he was optioned and recalled repeatedly on May 25, Jun 12, Jun 27, Jul 23, Aug 10, Aug 21, Aug 22 and Sep 14. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 1183, he finished 1172nd of 1472 overall in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 11 spots above his ADP rank, and 424th of 660 hitters and 57th of 93 left fielders. The TDK LABS card tracked the swings in confidence along the way: by early May it had him mired in a cold slump, by late Jul it noted he'd been recalled carrying a hot bat, by mid-Sep it read his contact as modest with playing time limited, and by late Sep it had him rising in the weekly picture on a recent surge in extra-base production.
