Daylen Lile played a full season for WSN and hit for pop more than for average, with the price tag never quite catching up to where he landed. He went .246/.296/.429 with a 19.4 K% and a 6.1 BB% over 655 PA across 160 games, 149 of them starts, with 148 H, 28 2B, 8 3B, 22 HR, 81 R, 89 RBI and 15 SB against 7 CS, from his first game Mar 26 to his last Sep 27. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 201, he finished 53rd of 1472 overall in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 148 spots above, 42nd of 660 hitters and 4th of 93 left fielders. His .312 wOBA ran 12 points below his .324 xwOBA over 655 PA. Against right-handed pitchers he hit .251/.303/.473 over 475 PA, against left-handers .228/.273/.305 over 183 PA. He hit .292 over 106 AB in Aug and just .171 over 76 AB in Sep. The TDK LABS card followed the role: by late Jul it had him as a callup facing only right-handed pitching, by early Aug it had him limited to part-time work despite hot power stretches and lineup shuffles, and by late Sep it read his cold stretch as not reflecting a broader shift given the bat's metrics held and he stayed in the lineup daily.
