2026 review

Denzel Clarke barely got on track before his year was interrupted: in 40 games and 23 starts he hit .158 with a .238 OBP and a .171 SLG in 76 AB over 87 PA, with 4 SB. He posted a 33.3 K% and a 9.2 BB% over 87 PA. A mid foot bone bruise in his right foot put him on the 10-day IL Apr 22, which stretched into a 60-day IL stint with rehab assignments along the way before he was activated Sep 1, missing 132 regular-season days. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 411 in 498 of 674 drafts, he finished 1315th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 904 spots below his ADP rank, 529th of 660 hitters, and 60th of 70 center fielders. By early May the TDK LABS card had him out of the walking boot and starting to run again, the first real sign of progress since the injury; by late Sep it had him mostly on the bench, a hitter who made contact but had little pop to show for it.
