2026 review

Denzer Guzman spent the first part of the season optioned away before LAA recalled him Jun 8, and he took the everyday reps that followed: 87 games, 74 starts, .219/.266/.336 with 8 HR, 33 R and 33 RBI, a 25.7 K% and a 5.6 BB% over 304 PA. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 792 in just 13 of 674 drafts, he finished 814th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 301st of 660 hitters, and 35th of 67 third basemen. His best month was Jun at .268 over 71 AB and his worst was Aug at .181 over 72 AB. The TDK LABS card had him getting real at-bat volume up the middle right after the recall, then by Aug 7 losing at-bats to competition, and by Sep 3 benched after a weak month; by Sep 27 it still had the underlying contact quality intact even as the results lagged.
