Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 56 and taken in 674 of 674 drafts, he finished 467th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 411 spots below, and 218th of 811 pitchers and 148th of 575 relief pitchers. His 4.43 ERA ran 1.21 above his 3.22 xERA over 184 BF. The TDK LABS card had him as a consolidated closer in early May and still described the role as locked in by mid-Jul, then by mid-Aug it noted the shoulder strain had put him on the IL, and by late Sep it noted he was just activated after the shoulder injured list stint.
