2026 review
Edgardo Henriquez was a hard reliever who missed bats and limited hard contact but let a bit too much across the plate: a 2.85 ERA and 1.03 WHIP in 60.0 IP for LAD, with a 29.3 K% and a 10.3 BB% over 242 BF across 61 games, 4 W, 1 L, 2 SV and 11 HLD against 1 BS. His 25.0 Hard% over 140 BBE was the 21st lowest of 517 pitchers with 100+ BF. Right-handed batters managed just .171/.254/.188 over 131 PA against him, while lefties did better at .185/.318/.304 over 111 PA. His 2.85 ERA ran 0.38 above his 2.47 xERA over 242 BF. Lower back discomfort put him on the 15-day IL Sep 14, and he had missed 13 regular-season days with no activation on record through Sep 27. Taken in just 35 of 674 drafts at ADP rank 888, he finished 266th of 1472 overall and 47th of 575 relievers. The TDK LABS card had flagged him in early May as a speculative arm buried in a crowded pen, and by early Aug it described him as a matchup-based reliever without a clear path to saves or holds in a crowded Dodgers bullpen despite the strong ERA, before noting the back issue in mid-Sep.
