2026 review
Eli White was a part-time right fielder who outhit his contact quality: he hit .246/.289/.398 in 191 AB for ATL and BOS with 6 HR, 27 R, 29 RBI and 5 SB, plus a 22.1 K% and a 5.4 BB% over 204 PA. A concussion put him on the 7-day IL May 11, he was activated May 20, went on the paternity list Jul 6 and was activated Jul 9, then after moving from ATL to BOS he was placed on the 10-day IL Sep 11 (retroactive to Sep 9) for a right foot ligament injury and transferred to the 60-day IL Sep 27, missing 27 regular-season days across 2 stints. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 1046, he finished 768th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank and 33rd of 79 right fielders. His .300 wOBA ran 31 points above his .269 xwOBA over 204 PA. The TDK LABS card had him as a right-handed platoon piece in early May, a constrained platoon fourth outfielder with a hot short sample by mid Jul, and a cold bench matchup piece in a crowded Boston outfield by late Aug, before landing on the 60-day IL after foot surgery by late Sep with his season over.
