2026 review

Elieser Hernández worked strictly in relief for ATL, posting a 2.25 ERA and 1.33 WHIP in 12.0 IP over 5 games, with a 24.5 K% and an 11.3 BB% over 53 BF, 3 HR allowed and 1 SV. He cycled through being selected, designated for assignment, outrighted and re-signed to a minor league contract with ATL, on Jul 19, Jul 25, Jul 27, Jul 28, Jul 29, Aug 1, Aug 3, Aug 4, Sep 2, Sep 9, Sep 11, Sep 13 and Sep 24, working 2 games in Jul and 3 games in Sep, each stretch covering 6.0 IP. Undrafted in NFBC drafts, he finished 454th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 206th of 811 pitchers, and 138th of 575 relief pitchers. The TDK LABS card followed the churn: by late Jul it had him selected for bullpen depth and then designated for assignment after one appearance, and by early Sep it had him back for length work in the bullpen, before late Sep found him filling a roster spot as a middle reliever with no leveraged role.
