Enmanuel De JesusDET · RP

2026 review

Enmanuel De Jesus was a left-handed relief piece who did quiet, useful work in a crowded Detroit pen: 30 games and a 3.83 ERA and 1.25 WHIP in 42.1 IP, a 21.9 K% and an 8.4 BB% over 178 BF, with 2 W and 1 SV. He shuttled the whole year, selected Mar 10, optioned Apr 22, recalled Apr 29, optioned Jun 28, recalled Jul 31, then placed on the paternity list Aug 11 and activated Aug 12 before a final option Aug 23. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 707 in just 5 of 674 drafts, he finished 555th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank and 210th of 575 relief pitchers. His 3.83 ERA ran 0.62 below his 4.45 xERA over 178 BF, and his best month was Jun at a 0.00 ERA in 10.1 IP against a 3.38 ERA in 13.1 IP in May. The TDK LABS card had him as a left-hander in a deep pen through early Aug, then by mid-Aug as a deep-relief arm posting strong recent results even with a low-leverage role capping his ceiling, and by late Aug still a bulk relief piece with no save or hold path in a matchup-driven pen.
