His 5.66 ERA ran 1.51 above his 4.15 xERA over 189 BF. He was sharpest in May at a 2.93 ERA in 15.1 IP and fell apart in Jun at a 7.71 ERA in 11.2 IP. The TDK LABS card had him stuck in a three-way Minnesota committee by mid-May, the blown save still on the ledger and his role slipping down the order; by late Jun it called him a fringe arm in that committee after back-to-back blown saves with his role shrinking further, and by Jul 11 it had him as a middle reliever in a spread-out committee.
