Eury PérezMIA · SP
2026 review
Eury Pérez was a strikeout arm who could not keep the meltdowns from creeping back in: 8 W, 11 L, a 3.91 ERA and 1.21 WHIP in 159.0 IP across 29 GS, with a 25.8 K% and a 10.3 BB% over 660 BF. A right gracilis strain put him on the 15-day IL May 29, retroactive to May 28, and after a rehab assignment Jun 16 he was activated Jun 24, missing 27 regular-season days. He was better after that stint, a 3.46 ERA in 96.1 IP against a 4.60 ERA in 62.2 IP before it, and his best month, Jul, was a 1.69 ERA in 32.0 IP before his worst, Sep, closed the year at a 6.04 ERA in 28.1 IP. Right-handed batters hit him harder than lefties, .243/.332/.436 over 295 PA against .189/.283/.317 over 367 PA. The TDK LABS card tracked the swings: back from injury in late Jun it framed him as a power arm, by early Sep a meltdown with several homers had it calling him a fade despite the stuff, and by Sep 27 a one-hit shutout had it back to praising his stuff while flagging volatility. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 77, he finished 399th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 322 spots below, and 61st of 236 starting pitchers.
