2026 review

Evan Carter split time in center for TEX, hitting .194 and slugging .315 over 391 AB, with a .288 OBP and a 25.1 K% and a 10.3 BB% over 455 PA, adding 9 HR and 17 SB in 141 games. A right oblique strain put him on the 10-day IL on Jun 13, he took a rehab assignment Jun 26, and he was activated Jun 28 after missing 15 regular-season days. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 290, he finished 401st of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 111 spots below, and 28th of 70 center fielders. He hit .176 over 193 AB before the IL stint and .212 over 198 AB after he came back. By early Jul the TDK LABS card had him as a part-time platoon piece leaning on his contact profile, and by late Sep it had him as a platoon outfielder built around his speed and walk rate.
