Evan SiskPIT · RP

2026 review

Evan Sisk was a shuttle reliever who missed bats but also missed the strike zone: a 3.02 ERA and 1.37 WHIP over 44.2 IP with a 25.4 K% and 12.7 BB% over 197 BF across 41 games. He was optioned Mar 17, recalled Apr 13, placed on the 15-day IL Jul 4 (retroactive to Jul 1) for left elbow inflammation, took a rehab assignment Jul 30, and was activated Aug 5, missing 35 regular-season days; he then shuttled between the majors and the minors on Aug 13, Aug 28, Sep 3, Sep 24 and Sep 27. Taken in 1 of 674 drafts at NFBC ADP rank 495, he finished 589th of 1472 overall in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank and 324th of 811 pitchers, 236th of 575 relievers. His 26.5 Hard% over 113 BBE was the 37th lowest of 517 pitchers with 100+ BF, and his 3.02 ERA ran 0.74 below his 3.76 xERA over 197 BF. He was sharpest in May, a 0.61 ERA in 14.2 IP, and roughest in Jun, a 3.97 ERA in 11.1 IP. The TDK LABS card read him in early Aug, after his return from the elbow injury, as a reliever without a settled role or recent results, and by late Sep it had him recalled to give a taxed bullpen rest.
