Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 1274, he finished 83rd of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 65th of 660 hitters, and 9th of 61 shortstops. His .324 wOBA ran 24 points above his .300 xwOBA over 597 PA. He hit .288 over 104 AB in May, his best month, and just .193 over 88 AB in Sep, his worst. The TDK LABS card traced the same shape: by May 8 it had him filling in around a teammate's move and answering with a 3-for-4 night that included a triple, by Jul 25 it had him as a multi-position piece with strong rate stats, and by late Sep it had him in a slump even as it still credited the season-long profile and power production.
