He was optioned Apr 3, recalled Apr 5, placed on the 15-day IL Apr 28 retroactive to Apr 26 with a right shoulder strain, transferred to the 60-day IL May 19, took rehab assignments Jul 11, Jul 14, Jul 18 and Jul 22, optioned Aug 1, recalled Sep 1 and optioned again Sep 7, missing 128 regular-season days in 1 stint. Across 7 games he posted a 5.73 ERA and 1.45 WHIP in 11.0 IP, with a 27.5 K% and an 11.8 BB% over 51 BF, going 1 W, 1 L with 1 BS. Undrafted in NFBC drafts, he finished 681st of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 397th of 811 pitchers, and 298th of 575 relief pitchers. The TDK LABS card had him as a shoulder-strain middle reliever without a save path in early May, and by early Sep it had him back as bullpen depth after rosters expanded.
