2026 review

Gavin Sheets was a patient hitter who couldn't find his average: he posted a .212/.313/.397 line with a 20.3 K% and an 11.7 BB% over 419 PA for SDP, adding 17 HR, 47 R and 48 RBI across 125 games. A left foot sprain sent him to the 10-day IL on Aug 30, and he missed 27 regular-season days before being activated Sep 26. Taken in 551 of 674 drafts at ADP rank 374, he finished 351st of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 23 spots above his ADP rank, and 32nd of 65 first basemen. His best month was Apr at .264 in 72 AB, against just .153 in Jul. The TDK LABS card followed him from a hot platoon stretch against righties in May, through a run of extra-base production it called contact-forward by early Jul, to his return off the foot injury as a DH in late Sep.
